Chocolate Covered Banana Peanut Butter Bites with Collagen

These frozen chocolate-covered peanut butter banana bites with collagen combine indulgence with nutrition. Ingredients:

  • 2 bananas 
  • 6 tbsp. of organic peanut butter (almond butter for peanut allergy alternative)
  • 10 oz. dark chocolate chip bag
  • 1 tsp. of coconut oil
  • 1 scoop of Renewed Health’s Collagen
  • Optional: sea salt

Instructions: 

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice both bananas into ¼ inch slices. Take some peanut butter and put it on half of the slices. Take the other slices and place them on top to make little sandwiches. 
  3. Place them in the freezer for about 15 minutes until firm.
  4. Place the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a bowl. Microwave them in 30 second intervals, stirring in between until melted. Once melted, put collagen in and combine. 
  5. Dip each banana sandwich into the chocolate using a fork, then place back on the baking sheet. If using sea salt, add on top now.
  6. Place the bananas back in the freezer for about 2 hours until firm. Once firm, you can enjoy them!
  7. Store them in the freezer in an airtight container.
