Cranberry Blondies with Collagen (Gluten Free)

Cranberry Blondies with Collagen (Gluten Free)

Jump into the holiday baking spirit with this festive flavored recipe! These Cranberry Blondies with Collagen are gluten free and a healthy alternative to some of your traditional baked goods.

The following are a few of the key ingredients and why they make this recipe so amazing!

  1. Maple syrup is a great natural sweetener to add to baked goods. It adds just enough sweetness, so you can ditch those refined or artificial sweeteners! Because it is natural, it will not spike your blood sugar as high as the alternative options would. It also contains antioxidants and minerals that are good for your body.
  2. Almond butter is a primary ingredient in these blondies and has a very nutrient dense profile. It provides heart-healthy monounsaturated fats, which help reduce the risk of heart disease. It is also rich in vitamin E, magnesium, and fiber, which all contribute to overall health.
  3. In addition to almond butter, the almond flour also contains fiber and vitamin E. It is also lower in carbohydrates and higher in healthy fats than traditional flour, which is perfect if you are aiming for a low-carb diet. Of course almond flour also makes this recipe a great option for those with gluten allergies.
  4. Cranberries are a festive highlight to this recipe and also have some great health benefits. They are rich in antioxidants, vitamin E, vitamin K and manganese, which help to reduce inflammation in the body, as well as protect against chronic diseases. They are high in fiber so they are also helping to promote healthy digestion. They also contain vitamin C, which will help boost the immune system.
  5. Renewed Health’s Collagen is a perfect additive to your recipe because of the multiple health benefits it provides. It is not only super easy to add and a great source of protein, but it also is great for gut health and digestion support, hair, skin and nails, as well as bone and joint health.
